"One of my dreams has been to travel to where the music is made and the magic happens. My recent trip to the Los Angeles area provided me the opportunity to meet some of the greats in the music and record producing industry. And none was bigger than the venerable Bernie Grundman who graciously spent an afternoon with me to discuss his history and show me a true full-fledged mastering operation".

The hits and misses keep coming on SURFACE NOISE: BONUS TRAX where the panel discusses where they find the "vinyl inspiration" to discover new music through collecting records. This can be a simple as collecting any release connected to a beloved artist or band to round out a complete discography, to deep diving producers, musicians, or other connective tissue from a favorite release, or simply discovering new genres, artists, or works from a song, a story, or a video that keeps the road to discovery fun and fruitful with new knowledge exploration to explore.

Along those lines, The Grooveseeker shares a new band - the only two deejays in Italy, apparently - called Mind Enterprises, followed by Concert Buddie sharing a recent guilty pleasure along those lines (Dabeull). Sprinkle in some trusty VMP detective work and a tribute to the somewhat legendary Jennifer Love Hewitt and this program calls it a night.
